About Us

The Toronto & Area Alumnae Chapter is a group of women dedicated to staying connected to Alpha Phi through sisterhood activities, social events, and philanthropic initiatives.

Alpha Phi International Women's Fraternity is a sorority with over 200,000 initiated members. Founded at Syracuse University in 1872, Alpha Phi is the fourth Greek-letter organization founded for women and the first "sorority" founded for women in the northeast.

There are many benefits to membership in an alumnae chapter including an introduction to a new community - an instant circle of new friends in a city you may not know very well. Alumnae chapters also provide opportunities for philanthropic and community activities, business and networking opportunities, and fun social events. many alumnae chapters volunteer with and support local collegiate chapters too. The primary focus of all alumnae chapters is fun and friendship! Each alumnae chapter is comprised of local Alpha Phi women from different collegiate chapters around the country allowing you the chance to meet other alumnae at all stages of their lives.
